National, Labour, the Greens and Te Pāti Māori have voted against ACT's proposal to strengthen New Zealand's coward-punch laws.

“The first new offshore petroleum exploration permit since Labour’s ban was reversed is proof ACT is delivering in Government,” says ACT Energy and Resources spokesperson Simon Court.

ACT is welcoming changes announced by the Government today that will simplify the RSE scheme, recognise employers with a good track record and give workers more freedom to move between recognised employers.

At present we spend about $34 billion on health, but the medicines budget is only five per cent (about $1.7 billion) of that.

“No Kiwi should have to empty their savings, uproot their family, or leave the country to get medicines Australians receive as a matter of course,” says ACT Leader David Seymour, announcing ACT’s policy for medicines funding.
