I'd like to talk about an issue that cannot be ignored. It is easily abused for political purposes, but does contain real policy problems.

ACT is announcing new policy to make immigration work for New Zealand. One that welcomes people, but only if they share values of tolerance, freedom and democracy, help build infrastructure, and play by the rules.

“The Burnside Bridge in Central Hawke’s Bay is a small project that reveals a big problem. New Zealand has forgotten how to build practical infrastructure,” says ACT Infrastructure spokesperson Simon Court.

ACT is welcoming an extension of submissions on the Fisheries Amendment Bill.
