About
Amanda is a former commercial litigation lawyer who worked in Auckland, London, and the Isle of Man, including for leading firm DLA Piper. She now runs her own successful fitness business, working as a certified personal trainer who helps people build confidence and wellbeing through movement.
A proud St Heliers local, Amanda has a passion for making her community stronger, safer, and more connected. Living in St Heliers with her husband, two children, and their much-loved golden retriever, she understands what makes Ōrākei such a special place to call home.
Amanda is focused on getting the basics right – ensuring accountable spending, keeping public spaces clean and safe, protecting beaches and water quality, fostering neighbourhood initiatives, and supporting practical, people-focused transport solutions.

"With a background in law and business, I know how to make practical, common-sense decisions to safeguard ratepayer funds, deliver transport solutions that work, improve safety and public spaces, and protect our coastline and waterways, creating safe, vibrant, and thriving neighbourhoods.”
