“ACT welcomes Labour's decision to back our policy to make school uniforms more affordable, and I'm calling on every other political party to get on board so we can make uniforms cheaper for Kiwi families," says ACT's Education spokesperson Laura McClure.

“Labour and their would-be coalition partners are spreading misinformation about ACT's fully costed fiscal plan. They ignore the debt elephant in the room our fiscal plan takes on and make a mockery of their own claims to be ‘cleaning up politics',” says ACT Leader David Seymour.

“New Zealand is in the sh*t, can we seriously afford to be sending millions of dollars overseas for tripe like ‘climate-smart’ passionfruit?” asks ACT list candidate Paul Henry.

“ACT will campaign for agriculture to remain a subject in the Year 11 school curriculum,” says ACT’s Agriculture spokesperson Andrew Hoggard.

“National’s welfare policy goes a short distance in the right direction. Yes, there need to be consequences, but if languishing on the dole is bad, why wait two years for consequences?” says ACT Leader David Seymour.
