ACT is today unveiling it's final group of electorate candidates as it continues building its nationwide team for the 2026 General Election.
“New Zealanders are backing ACT because we've shown we can deliver in Government, and that's attracting more high-calibre people who want to help shape the country's future,” says Todd Stephenson ACT Party whip.
“Among today's candidates is Alex Price, who will contest Mt Albert. Alex is the CEO of Fertility Associates and has more than 20 years' experience leading healthcare organisations across New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific. He represents exactly the kind of person ACT is attracting: someone who has built a successful career solving real-world problems, improving services, and delivering results for New Zealanders.”
“ACT continues to attract New Zealanders with real-world experience, not career politicians. They are people who have built businesses, worked in the professions, served their communities, and solved problems outside politics. They understand what it takes to create opportunities, grow the economy, and deliver better outcomes.
“Our candidates include business owners, engineers, healthcare professionals, lawyers, farmers, teachers, community leaders, and former military and police personnel. They reflect the people who keep this country running every day.
“We're building a team ready to earn every Party Vote and ensure the next Government stays focused on growing the economy, respecting taxpayers, and unlocking New Zealand's potential.”
