On Friday, 14 February, I will be hosting the first of my scheduled series of community meetings for 2020. These meetings aim to bring interesting and informative experts to the electorate to speak to residents about the issues which concern them.
The meeting on 14 February will be with Pearl Hawkins from Inland Revenue at the Jack Dickey Community Hall in Greenlane. The meeting will start at 10:30am and end by midday. Morning tea will be available from 10am .
Paying taxes is something most of us do somewhat reluctantly and I thought you would appreciate having Pearl along to answer your questions.
Pearl will be taking questions on a wide variety of tax-related issues, for instance, tax liabilities on overseas pensions. To make sure Pearl covers the issues you are interested please submit your questions by 9 February to [email protected].
