Community Crime Prevention & Report

I am delighted to host Community Patrol of New Zealand (CPNZ), who are forming a local patrol in Epsom with support of our local Police.Speakers:  Don Allan (Senior Constable), Laurent Schwarzenberger (Sergeant) Chris Lawton (Community Patrols of NZ Chairperson) In a perfect world this would not be necessary, but we don’t live in a perfect world, and many residents want to act. CPNZ were formed to prevent crime and reduce harm, and I’ll be hosting them at a public meeting on Tuesday 23 May. New Zealand Police provide regular guidance, training, and tasking to CPNZ so that there are extra “eyes and ears” in our community to protect our neighbours. At this meeting the Police will give us an update on the local crime situation. **They are looking to recruit more community volunteers to help them in their work.** This is a non-party political meeting.
