I am hosting Her Excellency Neeta Bhushan, Indian High Commissioner to New Zealand. India is the world’s largest democracy and its contribution to the world economy and global culture is immense.

I have asked Neeta to focus on the following issues:

• The existing relationship between India and New Zealand and prospects for the future.
• How the large and growing Indian population within NZ is influencing the relationship.
• Neeta’s personal perspective on the different outlooks of both countries
