I am a three-term elected member of the Rodney Local Board and this term I serve as Chair. This has been challenging and rewarding in about equal measure. Previously I worked in IT and Telecommunications. Professionally I am pragmatic and accept that some improvement sooner is usually better than perfection at some point in the future. With two adult daughters, two young grandchildren, a 1966 Ford and a ride-on mower I am feeling lucky.
I view excessive central government interventions and bureaucracy as impediments to improved prosperity and self-sufficiency. People in need should be cared for and people that break the law should face consequences. This should be so for all New Zealanders. I am committed to being an effective team member, working to lift ACT’s electoral outcomes and repair our community and economy, resulting in an enduring legacy for all New Zealanders.
