Laws That Work

We spend a staggering $25 billion each year complying with laws and regulations. Many of these rules serve no useful purpose, with no way of scrapping them.

ACT’s Regulatory Responsibility Bill would require a test for every law and regulation.

Government and its bureaucrats will have to answer in plain English:
What is this rule for?
What will it cost?
What will it achieve?

Rules will be re-tested every five years to determine if they have worked.

Call it the Red Tape test.
