ACT - On Campus

ACT on Campus is New Zealand’s most active youth political wing.  Operating on University Campuses and in the wider community, ACT on Campus teaches young people about politics and promotes the ACT Party Values of Freedom, Choice and Responsibility in Campus Political debates.

The Annual ACT on Campus conference is the organizations premier event and attracted 40 young delegates in 2007 where the keynote speaker was New York Author and Journalist Ann Marlowe.   Also in 2007 ACT on Campus members organized the inaugural ‘Liberal Thinking’ high school essay competition which attracted entries from across the country and saw the winner travel to Wellington to spend a day in the life of Rodney Hide.

By forming a centre for young liberal minded New Zealanders, ACT on Campus is one of the most important organizations in New Zealand for promoting ACT’s values.  The members are passionate and dedicated volunteers with a strong formal governance structure.  However they are also students and young adults with little money of their own.

With this in mind we ask you to consider donating to ACT on Campus.  Your donation will be used for campaign materials and promotions like the essay competition.  More importantly, it will help catalyse the campaign for Act values in the next generation.
